Statistics with Google Analytics
If you give consent, I use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Without your consent, I don't load Google Analytics.
Google Analytics processes a pseudonymous ID, the pages you view, your device and browser, and a rough location based on your IP address. I don't use this for advertising and I don't build profiles.
Google Ireland Limited processes this data for me. It may be transferred to the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. I keep the data in Google Analytics for 2 months.
You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, I delete the Google Analytics cookies.

What I store in your browser
I store your choice of light or dark theme and your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device.
Hosting
The site runs on Google's Firebase Hosting. Like any web server, Firebase keeps technical logs, such as your IP address, to keep the service secure.
The fonts are hosted on my own server. No requests go to Google Fonts.
Your rights
You can view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. Just send an email. If you're not happy, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
